What precautions should be taken with flood damaged HVAC equipment?

IN THE INTEREST OF PUBLIC SAFETY, ECR INTERNATIONAL, INC. SUPPORTS WARNINGS ISSUED BY THE AIR CONDITIONING, HEATING AND REFRIGERATION INSTITUTE (AHRI) THAT RECOMMEND THE REPLACEMENT OF ALL FLOOD DAMAGED HVAC EQUIPMENT REGARDLESS OF ITS AGE. 

Replacing only the operating controls of flood damaged HVAC equipment may not be sufficient if other parts of the equipment like piping, venting, burners, insulation, etc., have been effected by the flood waters. 

IT IS ALWAYS SAFER TO REPLACE RATHER THAN REPAIR 

New Manufacturing Engineering Support - 10/25/2019

ECR International is pleased to announce that Nicholas Bowers has recently joined our Team in the position of Manufacturing Engineering Support.  Nick reports to Steve Lilly and is supporting plant operations in Dunkirk. 

He is a 2018 graduate of Penn State Erie with a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering and a minor in Operations and Supply Chain Management.  Nick holds certifications in Industrial Time Studies, OSHA training and Lean Manufacturing.  His work experience includes time at Truck-lite as an Industrial Engineer as well as an Internship at Ring Precision. 

New Regional Sales Manager – West Region - 09/09/2019

William joins us from Mars Air Systems where he oversaw 27 independent reps in the HVAC, Food Service and Material Handling Industry. William started his career in mechanical engineering with Gritton & Associates focusing primarily on end user accounts for product lines such as Aerco, Marley Cooling Towers and Bell & Gosset. During his tenure with Gritton & Associates, he was able to grow sales 35% year-over-year in the end user segment.

A new Video Technical Support tool is now available to assist contractors in the field! This powerful new tool called Rescue Lens will enable ECR Technical Support advisors to see in real time exactly what the technician is seeing on the jobsite. Occasionally a technical issue comes along that isn’t identified immediately. Using Rescue Lens can provide our Technical Support advisors valuable information in real time to help resolve the problem.

 

ECR Hires New Technical Procurement Analyst - Jared Kachmar - 07/24/2019

ECR International is pleased to announce Jared Kachmar as our new Technical Procurement Analyst. In this position, Jared will primarily be responsible for supporting the Procurement function, the Procurement financial analytics (MPV/PPV, Budgets, Inventory) and Sourcing new components with the New Product development teams.

ECR is focused on creating a culture of Continuous Improvement in support of our BDR initiatives, and Jared will play a key role in creating and supporting this initiative.
